Universities in India
University
is place of higher learning and helps in acquiring education and
qualification. In some places it is run
by the Government and is known as governmental university. If it is run by the private body or
individuals then it is known as private university. Many governments have been involved in
providing distance education to their population. Hence we find open universities in most of
the countries. Due to growth of internet
we also find universities offering online education. Universities have many colleges working under
them. One university may have one or
numerous colleges. The ultimate purpose
of the university is to provide the ultimate education upto doctorate level and
other research based qualifications. India is one of the countries providing high quality education.
